Busy

So, like it says...I've been busy lately.

On Thursday I sang at a NATS recital. Boss (Sister Bossard) asked me to sing on Wednesday. I don't typically give up a chance to sing so I took it. I was just kind of lame because I sang the same thing I sang at my last NATS recital last year. Oh well. I thought ahead so that Mom and everyone could see and had J record it. So here it is.



Also, I've been making jewelry like mad. I actually sold a necklace and some earrings the other day! I shipped them off today. I'm so excited. I think I made something like $22 off the deal after shipping and materials and stuff. I'm really enjoying it all.

What I'm not enjoying are midterms. YUCK! I have a couple coming up this week and a project. I really should be studying instead of making jewelry but I can't help myself!

Oh! Also! We sold our apartment contract today! YAY! So hopefully it all works out and we only will have paid double rent one month instead of 3. It still stinks but we'll live.

Summer is starting to look up because I have a new hobby! I've started beading again, but this time....the stuff is decent!

I've decided that its worth spending the money on cause I'm going to try and sell some of it online. The other stuff will be given as birthday and Christmas presents.

No me gusta espanol esta noche

I am so sick of Spanish homework. I have these lab manual and workbook things due just about every week. Instead of doing a couple pages a night I save it all for the night before! Someone smack me! I have a test and oral tomorrow too. Those shouldn't go too badly though.

I'm getting pretty sick of Rexburg weather. Its been raining all day and isn't supposed to get any better tomorrow. The best weather day we've had recently has only been in the low 70s. Get me out of here!

Chloe goes in to get spayed tomorrow. Oh and she's getting a tooth pulled too. Poor baby. Tomorrow will probably be a good excuse to take pictures of her though. She'll be so mellow she'll let me.

And since I haven't posted any pictures for awhile I suppose I can find one so that you all remember what we look like.

This is usually how Milton looks. He always has a sock. We take them from him but he always seems to find another. He probably takes them off my feet in the night and hides them for later use. He's pretty sneaky.

Forget us. The dogs are much cuter. Here's Chloe looking rather calm. I think she was getting sick of being man-handled. How would you like it if someone was sticking their head (which could be 2 times bigger than your body!) in your face all the time?

New Place

Cougar Court decided not to allow pets anymore so we had to move. We had until our contract was up in July, but we had to find somewhere sooner than that. So we moved the middle of April to a 3 bedroom apartment above a garage of a house in Sugar City. We really like it here. Its so much bigger than our other place, and we have a washer and dryer! That's my new favorite thing. I'm not liking so much that we don't have a dishwasher or garbage disposal though. Or no cable.

I'm combating the no cable by having Netflix. I won J over with the idea when I let him in on the fact that he could be watching tv shows. So now we're watching X-Files and Star Trek. I get a new dvd and watch it and put it back in the mail the same day. I get so bored that I can only watch movies!

The dogs adjusted really quickly to the place, they just don't like the fact that our screen door never stays shut. It swings in the wind so they bark at it a lot. The whole thing probably annoys me more than it annoys them.

Other than that, J and I are back in school (yuck!). I'm taking almost a full load-I had a full load till I discovered that my religion class was going to be awful and booked it. So now I'm at like 10 credits. That's ok though. I'm just trying to get caught up with J so that we can graduate at the same time. Or at least close. J is mostly working this semester. He's taking 2 classes but that's about it.

So yeah...we're alive here in Rexburg. Actually, Sugar City. Its kind of depressing. Hopefully we'll have some events going on soon so that I can have some pictures to post!

I might as well just start up again. I'm so bad at this!

Valentine's Day was a lot of fun. J cooked dinner (steak and mashed potatoes. YUM! He knows me well) and then had a lot of homework. But that's ok. The dinner was great!
It took me like 15 pictures to get this one. J likes to make funny faces in pictures.

He got me roses (only 4, which is good, I'm not a huge flower person) and then cherry Hershey Kisses. I didn't think I'd like them much cause I'm not a huge cherry person, but they're so good! I can't wait till next winter when I can try the hot cocoa ones that Sarah loves.

I got J these cool chocolate miis that look like the miis on wii. The box is the shape of a wii and says "wii belong together, you and mii". I need to take pictures of it! If you really want to see you can go here:

I also made him a scrapbook that I need to take pictures of.

So our bed has been disgusting. The dogs have taken the stuffing out of the quilt, it has been peed on (and then washed), puked on (and then washed), and bloodied on by Chloe (and then washed). I felt so gross going into bed in it at night even though it was technically "clean". So J got me new bedding for V-day. Its so soft and comfortable!


So that was Valentine's Day. We're not up to much. Just trying to get through the semester. We'll probably be coming to California like April 12-18th or something like that. We're not too sure.

What's new in our lives?

Jonathan and I have a biology test that is absolutely horrible. The guy gets up with some powerpoints and people just copy them down exactly. There's really not a whole lot of teaching. And this guy assumes that everyone has a background in biology and chemistry. HELLO! I've never taken a chemistry class in my life. And the last time I took biology was about 4 years ago. I'm doomed.

I got new glasses a week or so ago. What do we all think?

So lately I've been eating breakfast which is a huge thing for me. I'm so not a breakfast person. So I'll usually eat either cereal or instant breakfast stuff which is just powder in milk. The past couple weeks anytime I drink milk I get horribly sick. Guess what? Sarah might be lactose intolerant again! Yay!

Can I just say how much that would suck? I don't have time or energy to read labels and make sure I'm not killing myself. Although, I think it's really only milk that's the problem. Cheese and yogurt doesn't really make me feel sick. Lame lame lame.

So tonight I'm just sitting on the couch watching what not to wear because moving feels like death. Grr.
