Back from the dead.

Can you believe I'm blogging? I can hardly believe it myself!

So much has happened the past few months. We finished our winter semester a week and a half ago and yesterday started our last first day at BYU-Idaho! We are so excited! (Although I think I'm more excited than J.) It's such a strange feeling to almost be done. It's bittersweet though. I wasn't one that was completely excited to go to college, but now I'm really starting to enjoy what I'm learning. Maybe that means a Masters is in my future at some point.

Speaking of Masters.....J got accepted to the University of Utah Master's program! He's totally pumped. He's on the computer graphics and scientific visualization track. I think I get the jist of it, but most of the time I still smile and nod when he talks.

Graduation from BYU-I is July 23 and J starts in Salt Lake on August 24th. That means that, in true Sarah fashion, I have been looking for apartments since before he even applied to school there. There are tons of choices, but I have no idea where we'll be. Ideally, we'd have full sized washer and dryer hook ups so that we could take our stuff, a kitchen that opens to the living room and (wishful thinking) a fenced backyard for the doggies. I'm actually finding a lot of good stuff from craigslist, but no one wants to hold their awesome deal until August. But if anyone knows of any good apartments, let me know!

This semester I'm taking a class called Administrative Issues. I was warned that a lot of people hate this class and it's a lot of work, but I'm super excited! We basically pretend we are putting together a preschool, after school program, etc. We have to create a handbook for the center with all kinds of things from a business plan and budget to child abuse prevention. I think it'll be great experience for the real world and will look awesome on a resume.

I feel like I'm missing some important information, but I guess not. It must just be my excitement with graduating. I got a hair cut, but that's nothing too exciting.

Oh, and we did go to California last week to visit. We had a ton of fun just relaxing and hanging out with family. But it was definitely too short.
